Bennie Tinson Secures Endorsement from BizFed PAC for June 2026 City Council Primary Election

COMPTON, CA – Bennie Tinson has been endorsed by the BizFed PAC for his bid to represent District 2 on the Compton City Council.

BizFed is a grassroots alliance that unites chambers of commerce, trade associations, minority business groups, economic development organizations, business improvement districts, and other business groups to advocate for policies and projects that strengthen the regional economy. It is the political arm of the Los Angeles County Business Federation, and the only pro-business PAC focused on local elections across all 88 cities in Los Angeles County.
Tinson also acknowledged the generous campaign contribution received from the BizFed PAC and emphasized his dedication to working towards a prosperous and vibrant future for residents of Compton and businesses alike.

- Public Safety & Infrastructure: Prioritizing the installation of speed bumps to protect children, fixing local streets, trimming trees, and modernizing drainage systems to prevent neighborhood flooding.
- Revitalization: Transforming Long Beach Boulevard by eradicating sex trafficking and attracting new dining, shopping, and attainable mixed-use housing developments.
- Neighborhood Quality: Reclaiming residential streets by removing commercial trucks and RVs, stopping industrial pollution, and implementing a 24-hour graffiti elimination policy.
“My goal has always been to improve lives through dedication and honesty,” Tinson said. “With my background in education, as a union organizer, and in municipal governance, I am ready to serve District 2 from day one.”
Tinson is the Executive Director of the Licensed Adult Residential Care Association. This community-based organization partners with the LA County Department of Mental Health to address homelessness and housing needs among vulnerable residents. He holds a Masterâs degree in Public Policy from Pepperdine University, a B.A. in Political Science from St. Olaf College, and is pursuing a Ph.D. at Claremont Graduate University.
