PRIVATE TUTORING AGREEMENT

Our Mission

At Valdez Educational Services, we transform academic struggle into lifelong success by pairing expert tutoring with dedicated personal mentoring. We understand that your child is more than just a test score, which is why our dual approach targets both classroom mastery and personal growth. We do not just help your child pass their next exam; we equip them with the mindset and habits they need to thrive independently in life, in college, and in their career.

This Private Tutoring Agreement is entered into between Valdez Educational Services LLC, 115 S. Waterman Ave., San Bernardino, CA 92408, Phone (909) 362-3620 and the student listed in the submited form.

Duration

Each session will last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Rate and Payment Terms

Hourly Rate

$120 per hour

Scholarships are available. Please complete the scholarship applications to determine whether you qualify for a reduced rate. (link to applications)

Schedule

Payments must be made in advance on a biweekly basis.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Notice Required: A minimum of three (3) hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
  • Late Cancellations: Sessions canceled with less than three (3) hours' notice will be charged at the full hourly rate.
  • Tutor Cancellations: If the Tutor is required to cancel a session, a make-up session shall be provided at no extra charge.

Expectations & Responsibilities

  • Student: Agrees to arrive on time, bring necessary materials, and be prepared to learn.
  • Parent/Guardian: Agrees to ensure a quiet, safe, and suitable learning environment for all tutoring sessions.

Services Provided

Duration: Each session will last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Duration & Termination

  • Term: This agreement remains in effect until terminated by either party.
  • Termination: Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice via email or text message.

Acknowledgment & Authorization

By submitting this form, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with all the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
